There are large sections of Route 30 west of Sadsbury that have a 35 MPH posted speed limit that seems to be ignored. There are cars and large trucks that pass through these towns that routinely travel 50 to 60 MPH. There seems to be lots of accidents involving buggys, people, property and animals.

With the pending increase in traffic due to property development in the township, I’m encouraged that our police department is getting an early start on building the perception that ‘if you speed in Sadaburyville, you’ll get a ticket’. There is something to the saying that ‘perception is everything’ as I know better than to speed through Parkesburg.

I hope we build that kind of perception here, and make some money for the township in the process.

I’ve heard $268.00 to start with, but our trash bill is only $130.00 per household. WOW ! This is over 100% increase. Well I guess all this new development will pay for it. Wait a minute, I’m already paying 100% more for trash and all this new development has not helped at all. What about all the other cost that Sadsbury township is going to incur? And to think I was told that all this new development was going to keep cost down, sort of spread it around. Gee, I don’t think that was the only thing that was spread around, it sort of smells don’t it. I got to stop thinking now my head is starting to hurt. But, what about the sewer and increase cost when were hook in, police, fire, township services. I just got to force myself to stop thinking, its getting worst.
